It all started with Meyer Company Ranch in 1990, When Robert Meyer came to the Blackfoot Valley region he ended his search for the perfect place to pursue his lifelong dream of returning to his agricultural roots by ranching.
Quality has long been a sought-after goal in the ranching industry, but Meyer took it a step further by applying this same goal to the beef industry, starting his own beef company Meyer Natural Angus. The goals behind Meyer Natural Angus and Meyer Company Ranch are to produce the highest quality, most consistent, natural beef available while addressing the public’s growing demand for additive-free beef and its desire to support environmentally friendly, humane growing practices. As the consumer demands have changed and evolved over the years, it hasn’t gone unnoticed by Meyer. In an effort to keep up with the public’s demands he’s since acquired Laura’s Lean Beef, Dakota Grass Fed Beef, Premium Natural Beef, and started Local Harvest beef products to meet consumer demands in specific markets.
Now, as Meyer is looking to the future and the demands of the public he has started Meyer Company Ranch Horses, whose goal is also one of quality and consistency in the process of producing well bred, trained geldings using humane training practices.
