Providing the right horse for you
Our goal is to purchase and train quality ranch raised geldings with good conformation, disposition, and solid feet. During the training period we get to know each horse extensively and we will do our best to match you with a horse. We strive to provide our horses with a solid foundation so when they go on to new homes they’re prepared to succeed in any direction you take them.
Training Client horses
It’s exactly as it sounds – we take your horse and start them under saddle for you or maybe your horse is already started and needs a “tune up”. We can also work with you on specific issues you may be having with your horse – just let us know.
We only offer a limited number of spaces for training outside client horses and require at least a 30 day minimum stay. We also require that you ride your horse in training with us at least once during their stay. We feel that an important aspect t o the future success of you and your horse depends on you seeing the changes that were made so you can implement them with your horse at home.
Private Purchasing Services & Training
We’re happy to consult with you to determine the specific needs you may have in a horse, we know how difficult it can be to find the “right” horse. We’re happy to use our knowledge of horses and contacts with breeders and act on your behalf to find a horse that fits you. If you would also like further training for your new horse we’re happy to help there too. This option obviously is more expensive, however it can be well worth the expense as it can save you headaches over the long run.
We also provide buyer inspections, we will evaluate a horse you have picked out for purchase and make sure the horse is everything you expect it to be.
